The Kentucky Diabetes Network is excited to introduce our 2026 campaign titled
Know Your Risk in ‘26
Campaign Goals
- Increase awareness of risk factors for type 1 and type 2 diabetes
- Connect individuals with diabetes screening tools to assess personal risk
- Provide education and resources for those with an increased risk for diabetes
How to Get Involved
- Plan a Screening or Promotional Event: Host a diabetes risk-test drive, health fair, or other community event where participants can learn about diabetes risk factors and associated health behaviors.
- Distribute Risk Tests: Guide participants through the risk tests either online or via paper copy. In exchange for a completed test, participants can be offered campaign giveaway items, while supplies last.
- Provide Educational Resources: Help individuals understand their personal diabetes risk and connect them with resources. Free educational resources are available on KDN’s website.
- Share Your Outcomes: In exchange for receiving campaign giveaway items, partners will be asked to complete a short post-event outcome form for grant reporting purposes.
