Leanne M. Clevenger, MD – Board-Certified Ophthalmologist

Dr. Leanne Clevenger is a fellowship-trained and board-certified ophthalmologist at UK Advanced Eye Care, with a specialization in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. She earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She then went on to complete her residency and fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic’s Cole Eye Institute, where she served as Chief Resident from 2021 to 2022. A Lexington native, Dr. Clevenger is grateful that she gets to provide retina care to the people of Kentucky and surrounding states. She believes in prioritizing her patients’ personal goals, while applying the most advanced treatments and surgical techniques.
